The roof replacement project is approximately 75% complete. The new membrane roof is being installed over the worn-out, leaky roofs, reducing the amount of material that would have been sent to a landfill if the old roofs were removed. Bonus - some ballast material was removed from the old roofs and reused as a road base on another BVSD site. The project is on schedule to be complete by the end of July.

Thanks to the generous voters of Boulder Valley School District, Eldorado PK-8 will receive over $3.2M in building renovations. This work includes much-needed repair and maintenance, such as roof repair; resurfacing tennis courts; repairing damaged asphalt and concrete; and replacing kitchen equipment among other important work. We are particularly excited about renovations that will allow us to offer our students more opportunities for Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes.

Much of this work is several years away. However, because of the urgency, roof repair is happening this summer. This work is currently underway and will continue through July.
