The transformation of the school from the work this summer is amazing, and there are exciting changes that will help the school look, feel, and perform better. While construction will be substantially complete and the building will be safe, comfortable, and ready for students for the first day of school, there will still be some ongoing work, which will take place evenings and weekends outside of school hours. We appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of the entire Louisville Elementary community through this project. We are grateful for the investment of BVSD taxpayers in the school which will benefit students and teachers for many years to come.
June 2019 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=21 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=21{28e838a4-8015-4177-ac17-2576b5d1e514}June 2019Now that the students and staff are solidly into enjoying their summer break, the bond-funded project at Louisville Elementary has officially kicked into high gear! There is activity taking place throughout the LES site, both inside and outside of the school. In order to accomplish millions of dollars worth of construction in just 11 weeks, work will be happening six days a week, 11 hours per day. With that in mind, please remember that the entire LES campus, including playground areas, will be off-limits to the public during the summer. This is to keep both the workers and the public safe during the project and allows the maximum amount of work to be done in this short period of time. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation with this temporary restriction!,

You will see an increased presence of construction personnel in the coming days, including materials like fencing, additional container(s) and other items arrive. Movers will be at the school Friday, May 24 to clear out classrooms, etc. so work can begin on Tuesday, May 28. The LES front office staff and administration will relocate to Fireside Elementary for the summer beginning 5/28. As you can imagine, a LOT of planning/coordination has gone into making this project run smoothly, and we are excited for the many changes coming to LES! Please note the entire LES campus, including playground areas, will be off-limits to the public during the coming summer. This is to keep both the workers and the public, safe during the project and allows the maximum amount of work to be done in this short period of time.
