Fransen and Pittman and school staff are busily working to prepare for the return of students. There are exciting new changes here, and the work this summer is will help the school look, feel, and perform better. While construction will be substantially complete and the building will be safe, comfortable, and ready for students, there will still be a few final tasks wrapping up. The new playground area will be ready at the end of next week. New sod on the southwest corner of the school will take some time to take root. Please mind the orange fencing and avoid these areas until they are ready. In addition, the new HVAC system in the north wing will take some time to get fully adjusted, there will be some hot/cold issues in the meantime. We appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of the entire Horizons K-8 community through this project. We are grateful for the investment in the school which will benefit students and teachers for many years to come.,
