In addition, several rooms will be remodeled to accommodate special education needs.

In the coming weeks, crews will be working to complete the mechanical and plumbing upgrades along with installing new ceiling tiles, carpet and lighting. They also will finish painting classrooms and office spaces. On the exterior they will finish the masonry repairs, new roofing system, landscaping and repaving the parking lot as well as the northwest play surface. As a final touch, new flexible classroom and library furniture will be installed as part of the Innovation project. We are expecting the office to open on Monday, August 6th and the teaching staff to return on August 8th. We anticipate the contractors will still be onsite throughout August working nights and weekends to get to final completion.,

June 2018 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=20 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=20{28e838a4-8015-4177-ac17-2576b5d1e514}June 2018Himmelman Construction has mobilized on site and is busily getting started on both the exterior and interior renovation work. The exterior work began by removing shingles from the roof and repairing/ replacing the brick/stone around the school. The interior renovation work has started with select wall demolition and above-ceiling work in the school. Just as a reminder, the school, and school grounds will be closed for the summer. In addition, the administration offices have been temporarily relocated to Louisville Elementary school until August. We plan to update the Fireside community periodically throughout the summer to share construction progress. Have great summer and we are looking forward to the new renovations at Fireside Elementary.
