Eisenhower Opening Day Delayed Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=26 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=26{28e838a4-8015-4177-ac17-2576b5d1e514}Eisenhower Opening Day DelayedEisenhower Elementary’s first day of school is being delayed until Monday, Aug. 20. Safety is a top priority in the Boulder Valley School District. When the Operations team and Superintendent visited the building on Sunday, it was clear that the building will not pass state inspections for student and staff safety in time to open Aug. 15. Childcare will be available free of charge to parents who require the services at Mapleton Early Childhood Center. The SAC and KE program will also be available regular times. Transportation will be provided. Follow the link below to sign up for childcare. The Meet the Teacher event will now be held on Thursday, August 16 starting at 4:30 p.m., outside of Eisenhower. We regret the impact that this will have on our families. Thank you for your understanding and patience., Sign Up For Childcare

July 2018 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=24 Updates/DispForm.aspx?ID=24{28e838a4-8015-4177-ac17-2576b5d1e514}July 2018Himmelman Construction continues to make progress on the renovation work at Eisenhower. During the month of June, the exterior renovation focused on the installation of a new roofing system and site work demolition. On the interior, crews removed existing concrete floors in the kitchen and bathrooms to prepare the rooms for new plumbing configurations and finishes. In addition, tile flooring in the hallways has been removed and electrical and mechanical upgrades have started. The month of July will see a sizeable shift from demolition and site preparation to reconstruction of the building spaces both indoor and outdoor. We look forward to the completion of the roofing system, installation of new flooring and fresh paint throughout, updated restrooms, new preschool rooms and repaved parking lot.

Other renovations that will occur this summer include adding an innovation space and redesigning interior space for two preschool classrooms. The administration offices have been temporarily relocated to Douglass Elementary School (840 75th Street, Boulder) until August.
