The BVSD Education Center will remain closed for the rest of the school year and over the summer. Employees will continue to work remotely or may move to another district location as the district transitions back to normal operations in the coming months. Email is the best way to reach district staff. Staff members also have access to voicemail on their office phones, and the district receptionist is continuing to assist callers on the district’s mainline at 303.447.1010.
Board meetings will continue to be held virtually and can be viewed live on BV22. Check out the Board of Education page on the district website for more information about the virtual meetings.
The extended closure aligns with current guidance to maintain social distancing and will provide additional time for construction crews to complete renovations and construction of the addition to the building. The Education Center is scheduled to reopen to the public on Aug. 17. Construction will continue on the new addition into the fall, with substantial completion expected in October.
